Language – MALAYALAM
Being the mother tongue of our state (Kerala), teaching of Malayalam is very important. In our school Hindi is the Second language and Malayalam is taught as the third language from class 1- 8 which is not providing the children sufficient exposure to Malayalam literature and grammar. It will be beneficial for the natives if there is option to choose Malayalam as second language and Hindi as third language. This will help them in getting good exposure to their mother tongue. At the same time they will acquire working knowledge of Hindi as well.

Language – SANSKRIT
Sanskrit is one of the most ancient languages in the world. It is said to be the language of the Gods. Being the mother of all languages like Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, it forms the strong base for the Vedas, Puranas and the religious scripture.
As a second language in schools it is preferred because it is a communicative language and it is easy to score marks.
In or school, Hindi is the second language and hence Sanskrit is the third language. From class 5 , this option is given because it serves as a good medium for importing Bhagavath Geetha.
