In the field of inter school competition, Chinmaya has been unbeatable, winning all the trophies and being the benchmark against which all others are measured. “Chaitanya” an interschool cultural competition is much awaited and enjoyed by all the students of the Vidyalaya.

Yathrikar-A Classic Indian Saga
Chaitanya’11 an interschool cultural competition organized by Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vaduthala was held at the school auditorium on 1st Oct, Saturday. Around 13 schools in and around Ernakulam participated in this cultural fiesta. The theme for this year was
Yathrikar-‘A Classic Indian Saga. This event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Kunchacko Boban at 9:00 am. Yathrikar started off with a performance by the Chinmaya Band. There were various competitions for the students to showcase their talents, like Raag Masti (Music), Kavi Kalpana (Literary), Alankar (Fashion),
Adbutha Ascharya Anokha (Surprise Event), Josh Jashn (Cheering) and Nritta Nritya Natya (Dance).The valedictory function started at 4:30 pm and the chief guests, Biju Menon and Pushp Kshetrapal, Vice-President of Petronet LNG Ltd. gave away the prizes.
Sacred Hearts emerged as the overall winners and they also bagged the Cheering Trophy. Nava Nirman and S.B.O.A emerged as the First and Second runners up respectively. The event ended with a vibrant dance performance by the host school.
